The team at Storybud HQ have been working away like Christmas Elves at Easter getting ready for the one festive holiday that has managed to escape the clutches of the Storybuddies so far … HALLOWEEN!!!

Following on from the success of the Royal Television Society Award for Best Children’s Programme for ‘Storybud’ series one and the ‘Storybud Christmas’ mini-series, we are bringing back some of our hilarious storytellers … and even some new ones … to tell bizarre and twisted tales based around some of our favourite ‘Halloween’ characters and traditions. Storybud alumni Jason Byrne and Tara Lynne O’Neill will be joined by newbies Dustin the Turkey and Panti Bliss … and yes … you did read that correctly; a turkey and a drag queen will be reading stories in this upcoming series. Who knows what they will come up with, harvesting the leftovers of ghouls, and ghosts, and witches and vampires and trick-and-treaters? There’s only one way to find out. Join us on RTE and RTE Player in October for a ‘Storybud Spooktacular’ … and yes the puns will be that bad.
